Latency 1.0 keeps your journal on your device. Here are the safest first steps when something does not look right.
Your journal did not appear
Make sure you opened the same installed app or the same browser and browser profile where you wrote it. The website and iOS app keep separate local journals. Private browsing may discard website storage. Do not clear site data or delete the app while investigating.
A photo will not save
Try a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image smaller than 12 MB. HEIC is not supported in version 1.0. Latency creates a smaller local JPEG. If the device is low on storage, keep the words first and add a photo later.
Export a readable copy
Open Settings and choose Export my journal. The copy is readable and unencrypted, so save it somewhere private. Version 1.0 does not yet restore an exported file.

Email support with your Latency version, device, operating-system or browser version, and a short description of what happened. Please do not include journal text, personal photos, or other sensitive material. The privacy policy explains how support messages are retained and how to request deletion.
